This course provides the foundational knowledge required for individuals seeking a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with a Passenger (P) endorsement. Students will learn federal and state regulations, vehicle inspection procedures, basic vehicle control, safe operating practices, hazard awareness, passenger safety responsibilities, emergency procedures, trip planning, and defensive driving techniques. The course meets Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) theory requirements and prepares students for the CDL knowledge exams and safe operation of Class B passenger vehicles, including buses and shuttle vehicles.
